Alloy steel is a metal material based on iron that improves the properties of steel by adding one or more other elements (such as manganese, silicon, nickel, vanadium, chromium, molybdenum, etc.). These added elements are called alloying elements, and their total content is usually between 1% and 50%. Alloy steels can be classified according to their main alloying elements. For example:
