3042b stainless steel plate, where 304 refers to the stainless steel grade, 2B refers to the surface. For oxidizing acid, it is concluded in the experiment that 304 stainless steel has strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid below the boiling temperature of ≤65%. It also has good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
Rust resistance is stronger than 200 series stainless steel material. High temperature resistance is also better, up to 1000-1200 degrees. 3042B stainless steel plate has excellent corrosion resistance and good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
All stainless steel plates are divided into 2B (that is, cold rolled) and NO.1 (that is, hot rolled) two kinds, 2B plate thickness ≤ 3.0mm, NO.1 plate thickness ≥ 3.0mm. Compared with hot-rolled steel plate, cold-rolled steel plate thickness is more accurate, and the surface is smooth and beautiful, but also has a variety of superior mechanical properties, especially in terms of processing properties. Because the cold-rolled coil is brittle and hard, it is not suitable for processing, so the cold-rolled steel plate is usually required to be annealed, pickling and surface smoothing before being handed to the customer. The maximum thickness of cold rolling is below 0.1-8.0mm, such as the thickness of most cold-rolled steel plates in factories is below 4.5MM; The minimum thickness and width are determined according to the equipment capacity and market demand of each plant.
